Overview
ClearWealth is a personal finance SaaS application offered by Cavan Ventures LLC. The Free plan is available at no cost indefinitely. Paid subscriptions (Pro and Premium) are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to the terms of this policy.
ClearWealth is a financial planning tool. It does not provide professional financial advice, and subscription fees are for access to the software platform only.
Free Plan
The Free plan has no cost and requires no cancellation. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. No refunds apply as no payment is ever collected.
Monthly Subscriptions
Pro and Premium monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time from Settings → Billing.
No refunds or credits are issued for partial months. Upon cancellation, your access continues through the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the initial purchase date are eligible for a full refund, provided the account has not synced more than 100 bank transactions or created more than 5 budget envelopes during that period.
- Cancellations made after 14 days are not eligible for a refund. Access continues through the end of the annual billing period.
- Annual renewals are non-refundable once processed. You will receive a reminder email 7 days before your renewal date.
Free Trials
When a free trial is offered, no payment is collected during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your selected plan activates and billing begins. You may cancel before the trial ends with no charge.
Billing Errors
If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 30 days at billing@clearwealth.app. Verified billing errors will be corrected and refunded promptly regardless of the standard refund terms above.
Exceptions
Refunds outside the standard terms may be considered at Cavan Ventures LLC's sole discretion in the following circumstances:
- Documented service outages exceeding 72 consecutive hours caused solely by Cavan Ventures LLC
- Duplicate charges resulting from a system error
- Charges processed after a confirmed cancellation
How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Logging into your account and navigating to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
- Emailing support@clearwealth.app with your account email and cancellation request
Cancellations are processed within 1 business day. You will receive a confirmation email upon cancellation.
Bank Connection (Plaid)
ClearWealth uses Plaid to connect your bank accounts. Plaid fees are included in your subscription cost — there is no separate charge for bank connections. Disconnecting your bank accounts does not constitute a cancellation of your ClearWealth subscription.
No Chargebacks Policy
We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Chargebacks filed without first contacting our support team may result in immediate account suspension pending resolution. We are committed to resolving all billing disputes fairly and promptly.
Changes to This Policy
Cavan Ventures LLC reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Subscribers will be notified of material changes via email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
